Ok, I think thats the final model of the my tank, Kampfpanzer JAGUAR A4 Urban Warfare Mod. I plan to make another 3D render of this tank in action with discriptions for weapons and co., like the Khamsin [link]

You are aware that multiple Abrams' have been taken out in its service, I believe that we lost like 10-20 in the Gulf war (although most were to accidental friendly fire, only one to an actual T-72) and many have been taken out in the wars in Iraq and Afganistan, mostly to IED's and various types of RPG's.

Gulf war was M1 Abrams. Which were on par with the T-72's the early afghan war they were M1 A1's which were above the shit they had, but still had weak spots. Our newest version, M1 A2, has Depleted-Uranium plates, weak spots strengthened, and Depleted-Uranium AP Sabot rounds. The U.S.A. Has not lost ONE M1 A2 to enemy fire. And An A2 cannot harm an A2, (I don't know how THAT works) so the likely hood that a RPG (a grenade with a propulsion system), or a post-Cold War era T-whatever could do shit is: UNLIKELY. Very few A2's have gone overseas mind you, but have been exposed to all that shit.

When I say IED's and Various types of RPG's, I mean IED's utilizing multiple 155mm artillery shells exploding under the tank (not just one or two, but 5-10 shells) and the newer more advanced types of RPG's capable of almost a meter of RHAe penetration. Very few have been taken out. All in all, I would say that both an Abrams and this thing would have a hell of a time dealing with each other, considering that tanks today seem to have an extremely hard time knocking each other out.

Additionally, the reason that the comment bothered me in the first place was because we know virtually nothing about this particular tank, I.E. What type of gun it uses, the armour it has, the damage control and fire suppression system, and if it has one of those god-awful auto-loaders that have for whatever reason have become more popular today. For all we know, it could be from the future and use some fancy ETC gun acheiving 3.5km/s velocity and have some ultra advanced armour.

Additionally, I am not denying that the M1 Abrams and its variants are damn good MBT's.

Actually after studying all the time about one of my many passions, yes I can confirm the M1A2 Abrams MBT utilizes Depleted-Uranium Plates.

Generally it depends on were you hit the tank and with what kind of ammunition . Every tank have vulnerable Points and less or better passive or active protection Systems.

130mm smooth bore. Little bit higher caliber, optimised for higher penetration by less range.

I could make a topdown view, but at first, I have to overhall the tank and make sheet with technical data and co.

This has to be the most feasible-looking future fantasy tank i have seen so far. And it has that functional beauty, like those two tank designs were always meant to go together.
I'm no tanker, is that 30mm coaxial just a crazy idea or does it have a real-world background?
Can't wait for the datasheet!

I don't know any tank who uses a 30mm coaxial cannon. I think that would be a nice advantage. Perfect for close range and multiple targets.

there is one out there with a 25mm coax(and only a 105 main) I can't remember the name though

also the BMP-3 has a 100mm cannon and a 30mm auto cannon up in it's turret, but its not a MBT so....

> 125mm revolver maincannon (8 rounds) for higher rate of fire (no conventional autoloader)

> 30mm koaxial machinecannon

> modular remote turret with 12,5mm machinegun (can be equiped with other weapons)

> 7,62mm MG3

125mm revolver main gun, Eh? You know I've have something similar to that, but my is a Gauss cannon which is a type of of projectile accelerator consisting of one or more coils used as electromagnets in the configuration of a linear motor that accelerate a ferromagnetic or conducting projectile to high velocity.

And because it uses magnets the tank rounds are smaller and more compact which mean you can load two rounds in each chamber giving a total of 12 rounds. Which rotates like a normal revolver until it is empty. The only drawback is it reload time.

==============

And btw what is the engine placement of your tank and how big is it?

Ha? Why do you think thats a Gauss cannon? Thats a normal smoothbore gun. But it have a revolver drum for direct feed into the ammo chamber of the barrel and a few more for the loader in the rear of the turret.

A V-12 Twin-turbo diesel engine with 1500hp, like the one of the Leopard 2, should be enough to move the tank.

Because I design it to be gauss cannon with revolver style loading chamber, Which also incorporates Metal Storm technology: [link]

The tank rounds themselves have no gunpower metal casing just the shell itself. Because gauss cannons used magnets.

Do you understand now or not?
